Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan
The governing board of the Nuview Union School District, in order to comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 98, held a Public Hearing on August 28, 2020. At this meeting, the District’s draft of the 2020-2021 Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan was presented to the public for review and comment. The Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan was adopted by the governing board on September 10, 2020.
Senate Bill 98 removes the requirement for the LCAP for the 2020–21 school year and establishes the Learning Continuity Plan that each district must adopt by September 30, 2020. This plan seeks to address funding stability for schools while providing information at the District level for how student learning continuity will be addressed during the COVID-19 crisis in the 2020–21 school year. The plan is intended to balance the needs of all stakeholders, including educators, parents, students, and community members.
