New Student Enrollment
Welcome to the Nuview Union School District! We are excited about your child's entry into our school district! Nuview Union SD is now enrolling new students for the 2024-2025 school year. Our first day of school is August 13, 2024.
Enrollment is for students who are new to the school district. Enrollment occurs throughout the school year when a student is going to begin attending a Nuview Union School District school. Students will be enrolled in the district once and registered each year.
RESIDENCE SCHOOLS
Students are enrolled in a school based on their address. The Nuview Union SD School Locator will indicate the resident schools for Nuevo/Lakeview addresses. If you wish your child to attend a different school, you must submit an Intradistrict Transfer request to the district office. Also, please know that free transportation (school buses) is available when you attend your residence school. Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of each family if they are on a transfer.
INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS
Students may be enrolled in the Nuview Union SD only after they have been released from their home school district. If you wish your child to attend a school within the Nuview Union SD please submit an Interdistrict Transfer request form at your home school district. Proof of Residency will be the approval letter received from Nuview Union SD.

Step 2:
The Enrollment Checklist is your guide. Please print it and use it as your checklist to ensure you have the correct documents to show to the personnel at your residence school site; otherwise, the school staff may not be able to complete your enrollment.
1. Printed confirmation of the online enrollment information (from Step 1)
2. Birth Certificate or Passport
3. Immunization records
4. Two (2) proofs of residency – see checklist for a list of acceptable items
5. Take the confirmation page and documents to the school during their office hours
Please be sure to have all required documents when you go to school. Incomplete packets may not be taken, and your child's enrollment will be incomplete.
Congratulations! Once you have completed the online enrollment and turned in your paperwork to your residence school, you have completed the Enrollment process.
