2020-2021 Learning Model Commitment Form Due

All Nuview Union SD families will be asked to complete the online commitment form confirming their student's learning model enrollment during November 18-29, 2020. Families who do not complete the model confirmation form by November 29, 2020, will have their students placed in the Hybrid Learning Model by default. 2020-2021 Meal Distribution

Nuview USD Nutrition Services will be offering a weekly meal service during Distance Learning for all enrolled students at Nuview Union School District, every Monday beginning Monday, August 17, 2020. Meal packs, which include breakfast and lunch for a week (5 days), will be free to qualified students only. Families who do not qualify for the free lunch program may purchase weekly packs for students. The food distribution will take place at Nuview Elementary School from 6 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The student does not need to be present.

2020-2021 School Year will begin in an Online Setting

On Friday, July 17th, the California Governor's Office made it clear; students throughout Riverside County will not be permitted to return to school in a traditional instructional model in August. Therefore, we will begin the 2020-2021 school year in a virtual instructional setting. The first day of school for students enrolled at Nuview Bridge ECHS is August 5 and the first day of school for students in TK-8 school is August 11.

COVID-19 School Closure Update - April 1, 2020

Dear Nuview Union School District Community,

This afternoon Dr. Cameron Kaiser, the Public Health Officer for the County of Riverside, issued an order that school buildings in Riverside County will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. We will continue to provide our students with learning opportunities at the completion of Spring Break. More details will be provided in the upcoming weeks in regard to grading, graduation and other end of the year activities.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to make the transition into distance learning. Our priority continues to be the health and well-being of our students and staff.

Free Meal Distribution During School Closure

Our Nutritional Services Department will continue providing a "Grab and Go" breakfast and lunch option at Nuview Elementary School for all children 18 years of age or younger in the District. Starting Monday, March 30th meals will be distributed only on Monday of each week from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with both breakfast and lunch distributed for ALL five days of the week at one time. Children must be present to receive a meal. Please have your car trunk open as you drive through and we gladly place the meals in your trunk.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) School Closure Update

Dear Nuview Community,

There have been several recent developments regarding the novel coronavirus, (COVID-19) situation in Riverside County. To review all communications updated by Riverside University Health Systems, Public Health please visit, www.rivcoph.org/coronavirus.

An executive order issued from Dr. Kaiser yesterday evening ordered the closure of all Riverside County schools from elementary to college until April 30, 2020.
