2021-2022 Student Data Validation is Now Open!

Please be sure to complete your student's data validation through your Aeries Parent Portal. Students may not be placed in a class and may not pick up instructional supplies if this has not been completed.

2021-2022 School Year Update

The Nuview Union School District is excited to announce that the 2021-2022 school year will be in person and five full days per week! Our staff can't wait to have our students back on campus full-time and look forward to the upcoming school year. School start and end times will resume to pre-pandemic bell schedules. Additionally, our transportation department will resume regular routes and services for our students in the upcoming school year.

We look forward to bringing all of our students and staff back for traditional in-person instruction and know that some parents have expressed interest in their child continuing in an online instructional model, similar to distance learning. The NUSD Virtual Academy will provide students in grades K-8 with an independent study option as an alternative instructional strategy to meet student needs and learning styles. Hybrid Learning Model - Bus Pass Application

We are offering transportation for students in the hybrid model for grades Kindergarten - 6th and will have a limited number of bus stops with limited bus seats available. You may have to transport your student to the nearest bus stop available. If your student is going to be participating in the Hybrid Learning Model and needs transportation. You can click on this message to print and complete the application or you may pick one up from your school site. First priority will be given to those students who have a Free/Reduced lunch status.

Please return the completed application to your school site by Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in order to receive a bus route and pass in a timely manner before the first day of school on March 22, 2021.

2020-2021 Learning Model Commitment Form Due

All Nuview Union SD families will be asked to complete the online commitment form confirming their student's learning model enrollment during November 18-29, 2020. Families who do not complete the model confirmation form by November 29, 2020, will have their students placed in the Hybrid Learning Model by default. Please click here to access the 2020-2021 Learning Model Commitment form that must be submitted for each student in the District.

Nuview Receives the 2018 State SARB Award

The Nuview Union School District has been honored with the 2017–18 Model School Attendance Review Board (SARB) State Award. This program identifies and recognizes results-based school attendance improvement programs at the district or county level. Outstanding and innovative programs chosen for the award will serve as models for other SARBs in the state that are reducing chronic absenteeism rates.
