Free Meal Distribution During School Closure

Our Nutritional Services Department will continue providing a "Grab and Go" breakfast and lunch option at Nuview Elementary School for all children 18 years of age or younger in the District. Starting Monday, March 30th meals will be distributed only on Monday of each week from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with both breakfast and lunch distributed for ALL five days of the week at one time. Children must be present to receive a meal. Please have your car trunk open as you drive through and we gladly place the meals in your trunk.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) School Closure Update

Dear Nuview Community,

There have been several recent developments regarding the novel coronavirus, (COVID-19) situation in Riverside County. To review all communications updated by Riverside University Health Systems, Public Health please visit,

An executive order issued from Dr. Kaiser yesterday evening ordered the closure of all Riverside County schools from elementary to college until April 30, 2020.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) School Closure Notice

Based on the order received from the Public Health Officer of the County of Riverside, our Board of Trustees and Superintendent have taken action to close schools, cancel classes and any student-related activities effective Monday, March 16, 2020. The District will close its schools through Friday, April 17, 2020.

A Message from the Superintendent - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Dear Nuview Community,

The Nuview Union School District, in partnership with Riverside University Health Systems, Public Health Department (County Public Health) and other state and regional agencies, continue to closely monitor the novel coronavirus COVID-19. NUSD participates in a weekly conference call with County Public Health officials and receives daily summary alerts.

The rapid development of the Novel Coronavirus has created yet another set of unprecedented challenges and stresses for our community. The 24-hour news and social media cycles have contributed to our collective stress and fears. Things are changing by the day. As such, the District will make all attempts to keep you informed and updated as soon as it knows.

Nuview Receives the 2018 State SARB Award

The Nuview Union School District has been honored with the 2017–18 Model School Attendance Review Board (SARB) State Award. This program identifies and recognizes results-based school attendance improvement programs at the district or county level. Outstanding and innovative programs chosen for the award will serve as models for other SARBs in the state that are reducing chronic absenteeism rates.
