This summer, Nuevo Community Theater will hold its 7th annual two-week long Performance Theater Camp for students entering grades 2-12 for the fall of 2019. Camp will be from 6/10 – 6/20 from 8am – 12 pm. The camp will culminate with a show, performed by the campers, on Friday evening 6/21 at 6:30pm.

There will be three Public Hearings during the upcoming regular meeting of the Board of Trustees. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 7 p.m. in Upton Education Center at the District Office.

The Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Education Code 60019 regarding the revision to the sufficiency of textbooks and instructional materials resolution on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 7 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nuview District Teacher Association (NDTA) have requested to amend the sunshine of their initial proposal for negotiations to the Board of Trustees of the Nuview Union School District (“District”) for the 2018-2019 school year at the regular meeting to be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

There have been changes made to events listed on the 2017-2018 School Calendar.

Board Member David S. McCabe resigned his position as effective April 27, 2018. Mr. McCabe was elected in 2010 and his term was to run until December 2018. The Board of Education may either call a special election or make a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy within 60 days. The District is seeking persons who are interested in serving on the Board. A person appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office until the next regularly scheduled election, whereupon an election shall be held to fill the vacant position.

Spring Break for students enrolled at Nuview Elementary School, Valley View Elementary School and Mountain Shadows Middle School will be from March 26th through April 6th. The schools will resume their normal class schedule on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Spring Break for students enrolled at Nuview Bridge Early College High School will be April 2-13, 2018. The school resume on Monday, April 16, 2018.

The Regular Board Meetings scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2018, in the Upton Education Center at the Nuview Union School District Office has been rescheduled to Monday, March 12, 2018. Please note the meeting times are as follows:
