PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17469, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 13, 2019, the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Nuview Union School District (“District”) adopted Resolution No. 061319A, entitled “RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE NUVIEW UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT DECLARING THE BOARD’S INTENTION TO LEASE CERTAIN VACANT DISTRICT-OWNED REAL PROPERTY AND ESTABLISHING A DATE AND TIME IN WHICH TO RECEIVE AND CONSIDER PROPOSALS FOR THE LEASE OF THE SITE” (“Resolution”).
The property is located near Lakeview Avenue in the community of Nuevo, County of Riverside (“County”), State of California (“State”), consisting of approximately 100 acres and comprised of APN Nos. 426-180-027-4, 426-180-011-9, 426-180- 005-4, 426-180-004-3, 426-180-010-8, 426-180-006-5, 426-180-009-8, 426-180- 007-6, 426-180-008-7 (collectively the “Property”). The Board has determined that the minimum annual lease price shall be $7,000.00. The terms of the lease are set forth in the Resolution and the proposed Lease Agreement, a copy of which may be obtained by contacting Mr. Jeff Simmons, Chief Business Official, who may be reached at (951) 928-0066, or via e-mail at email@example.com or at the address listed below.
Bidders shall be prepared to enter into the Lease Agreement consistent with the Lease Agreement on file at the District office and as set forth in the Resolution. Prospective bidders may inspect the Property prior to the date for submitting bids.
All bid proposals shall be sealed and must be delivered to: Nuview Union School District Board of Trustees, Attn: Mr. Jeff Simmons, Chief Business Official, at 29780 Lakeview Ave., Nuevo, CA 92567, no later than 12:00 p.m. on July 11, 2019 (which is the day the Board will open bids), in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution. Written bids will be opened, and qualifying oral bids shall be received, at the July 11, 2019 meeting of the Board, commencing at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reasonably possible. The Board reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids, if it deems such action to be in the best public interest, and to withdraw the offer to sell the property.
